We us the term "collective consciousness" because we believe that we are all connected. Travel puts that notion into play. It shows us how although we may live different lives, when we can see the world through compassion we can understand that we are not all that different. We 'take' photographs to remember a moment, feeling or simply something we see that lights us up.Since we take so much with these experiences, we feel it is important to give back to these places.Therefore, RATIO donates 15% of the profit made back to a charitable organization focused on either education or human rights within the country any given images was taken.

A good portrait captures your personality and represents who you are at this moment in time. Our goal is to present you with classic timeless images in which your friends and family will recognize not only your face, but your spirit.When we shoot, little ones are encouraged to be silly and playful, teenagers are allowed to be moody…the same goes for grown ups. We want your smiles and laughter to be natural, not forced. Families are photographed as a collective of individuals – no need to wear matching t-shirts. We’ll never ask you to lean against a tree while awkwardly gripping your football and we won’t ask you to act like a princess if you’re more comfortable in your beat-up Chucks and a pony tail. We do our best to make sure your session with us is fun and stress-free. Just be yourself…because you are fantastic.
