• Coordinated planning for US-Africa Business Forum as part of the Biden-Harris Africa Leaders Summit, convening over 40 African Heads of State and 200 American and African businesses to further U.S-Africa economics ties • Completed the development of Digital Africa 2.0 policy paper in partnership with Google, presented to the White House to provide recommendations to the Digital Transformation with Africa initiative

The Alliance for eTrade Development II ("eTrade Alliance") is a Global Development Alliance between USAID and 11 leading private sector partners to support MSME cross-border ecommerce development. Partners include Asociación Mexicana de Venta Online, Cargill, DHL, Element, Etsy, Google, Latin American eCommerce Institute, Mastercard, Paypal, Ringier One Africa Media, UPS, Visa, and Nextrade Group

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of clients’/donors’ priorities, trends in foreign assistance, and the landscape of current events to progress business development strategies that make for the best success. • Act as capture lead or coordinator for USAID, FCDO, UN, GFFO, DOS, and other donor opportunities. Duties include liaising with consortium partners, conducting preliminary competitive analyses, determining strategic approach, coordinating recruitment efforts, conducting key informant interviews, and other key positioning activities.• Lead calls with field office representatives on a bi-weekly basis to coordinate market intelligence and new business efforts• Manage the pipeline of opportunities, ensuring the most accurate and up-to-date information is available to the business development team, fostering informed decision-making processes.• Conduct extensive strategy assessments of USAID country mission priorities, analyzing trends in funding, gaps in existing programming, combined with current events. • Present business strategy to internal stakeholders at Blumont to help guide a strategic approach to new business• Use the knowledge of both Blumont’s past and present successes, as well as the general corporate strategy for new business, to act as a preliminary “filter” for what opportunities get distributed amongst key internal stakeholders for pursuit consideration.

As an analyst, I was given tasks and deadlines and was required to present my consultation to the owner of the company. In the six months I worked for Adelante, I helped narrow down the product range through a series of surveys targeted at the desired consumer base. I was also tasked with determining the benefits of implementing a price transparency model on the Adelante website.

As a summer intern for the West Africa Research Association (WARA), I had a wide range of administrative experiences including organizing member institutions, proof reading grant proposals, creating conference flyers, and categorizing African scholars’ research submissions. In writing literature to be distributed amongst member institutions, I exemplified my ability to write in a professional and coherent manner. Oftentimes, my supervisor had little vision for how to create a flyer, newsletter, or conference program, making it so I took full control of the task at hand. I also helped in the planning of a conference in the University of Ibadan in Nigeria by creating and maintaining a website for registration.
