Morgan holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. Prior to his appointment as Vice-Principal at Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), he was a Teaching Fellow in the English Language and Literature Academic Group in NIE. Morgan was selected for the Future Leaders’ Programme by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and was awarded the National Day Commendation Medal as well as the Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his contributions to education and outreach to disadvantaged families. He is also an active volunteer in the Boys’ Brigade 12th Singapore Company, serves as an Associate Lay Leader at Fairfield Methodist Church and assists the Anglo-Chinese School Old Boys' Association in its efforts to strengthen the alumni community and support retired staff members. At the national level, he is Chairperson of the Board of Children's Ministry in the Trinity Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Singapore, Chairperson of the Boys' Brigade Alumni Grant Committee of the Boys' Brigade Singapore and serves on the Committee on Fostering, Ministry of Social and Family Development.
