About Morgan Fletcher

Morgan Fletcher (she/her) is a communicator, strategist, writer, and believer in the power of story to create a more just world. She is the Founder of Fletcher Ventures, a boutique consulting firm serving progressive organizations in developing narrative-changing digital content and building high-performing communications teams. Previously, Morgan founded and led Girls for Gender Equity's Storytelling and Marketing team. Her work was two-pronged: 1) to lead messaging and campaigns that centered Black girls and gender expansive youth of color with an an anti-oppression, anti-carceral, racial equity, and Black feminist approach and 2) to serve as an organizational leader. As Director of Marketing & Storytelling, Morgan led the communications, branding and marketing strategy for GGE’s first national campaign, A National Agenda for Black Girls, a coalition-based project centering the voices of Black girls and gender-expansive youth of color in the 2020 presidential election. She also evolved the fundraising strategies of GGE year after year, which resulted in doubling the organization’s annual individual giving campaign earnings. As a senior member of organizational leadership at GGE, Morgan developed and advocated for the adoption of policies that center healing, rest, and renewal during the COVID-19 pandemic. These infrastructural investments are rarely made in institutions, particularly with the unique needs of Black women, genderqueer, non-binary and gender nonconforming employees in mind. Morgan has worked towards gender equity across industries throughout her career. She previously empowered women, gender nonconforming, genderqueer, and non-binary individuals to earn what their work is worth by serving as a salary negotiation coach for Ladies Get Paid, and she was also an East Coast Co-Director of Art Girl Army, a diverse community of creatives who believe in their work, in themselves, and each other passionately and unapologetically.Morgan received a Bachelor’s of Arts from Columbia University’s Columbia College.
