I am a entrepreneur, social activist, and humanitarian. I am a proud graduate of Old Dominion University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Women's Studies with an emphasis in public policy.Immediately upon graduation I began a career in International Export/Trade Compliance Specialist at a top government contracting company in Northern Virginia. That same year I started my first company, Tiny Treasures Events. Tiny Treasures Events was an innovative childcare solution that curated experiences for corporations, professionals and families in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Partners included organizations such as WOW, Women of Washington Redskins (Now Washington Commanders) and The Walker’s Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit organization that aims to empower and uplift multicultural women entrepreneurs.In 2018, I became a military spouse to an active duty member of the United States Air Force. That same year, I launched my second company, Lavender Rose Coordination (LRC). LRC is a wedding and event coordination company that specializes in Day of Coordination and partial planning services. LRC’s work has been featured in prominent publications, such as Black Bride Magazine.Aside from entrepreneurial endeavors, I have always lived a life committed to service, as well as having a passion for women and girls. This led to the founding of my non profit, Free Flow Movement Inc., in 2018. As president of Free Flow, I have successfully led my team in various programs and initiatives, domestically and abroad, that resulted in recognition from United Nations. To date, Free Flow has done work in 3 continents, 7 countries, and multiple states, collecting and distributing over 30,000 products and impacting the lives of thousands of women and girls on their menstrual journey. I am looking for networking opportunities to expand my business/brand, meet potential partners and sponsors, and seek out opportunities that will maximize my experience and grant me exposure to dynamic and diverse groups of people.
