My passion is seeking justice. During my undergraduate career, I participated in researching the effect of facility dogs in courtrooms, and authored a twenty five page literature review on the subject of forensic interviews with children and their testimony in court, specifically for sex crimes. Preceding my entry to law school, I served as a Victim Witness Services Coordinator for the District Attorney’s Office in Catawba County, NC where I worked with child victims of sexual and physical abuse. While pursuing my J.D., I completed a residency internship with the Rockingham County and Caswell County District Attorney’s offices where I acquired first hand experience in the courtroom using my student practice certificate. I believe in kindness for all.
