Centre For Doctoral Training In Socially Intelligent Artificial Agents Student
CurrentI am currently a dedicated researcher in the Social CDT Lab, a pioneering space at the intersection of technology and humanity, where our primary objective is the creation of Human-Centered AI with a genuine capacity for social interaction. During the foundational year of my PhD, I underwent comprehensive training in computer science, honing my skills for effective multidisciplinary research. My current research focuses on Human-AI collaboration, specifically in Human-AI Teams. I am committed to designing seamless interactions by leveraging Social Intelligence, with a particular emphasis on establishing and fine-tuning trust calibration between team members and AI agents. My passion lies in the calibration of trust, ensuring a symbiotic relationship that enhances overall team performance. My work delves into the dynamics of team triads, providing valuable insights into the impact of team dynamics on crucial variables affecting both team performance and trust. Leveraging my background in Psychology, I bring a unique perspective to my research, aiming to integrate and apply psychological concepts to the dynamic field of Human-AI Interaction. As a multidisciplinary researcher, I am driven by the opportunity to bridge the gap between psychological theories and practical applications, contributing to the evolution of Human-AI collaboration. I am excited about the potential of my research to shape the future of AI, fostering a new era of technology that truly understands and complements the human experience.
