As a Lead Compliance Specialist, I lead a team of eight professionals responsible for ensuring vendor compliance with licensing, insurance, and regulatory standards. I oversee daily operations, conduct audits, and streamline compliance processes to maintain the integrity of our vendor network. I collaborate with internal departments to address non-compliance issues and provide guidance on best practices. I also manage the onboarding process for new vendors, maintain accurate documentation, and lead weekly strategy meetings to align the team with business objectives. As the interim supervisor, I had the opportunity to lead and manage a team of six during a period of transition while the regular supervisor was on a leave of absence. In this role, I ensured the continuity of daily operations, upheld performance standards, and implemented strategic improvements to streamline processes. My focus was on fostering a collaborative environment, meeting key performance indicators, and ensuring that both team and organizational goals were achieved seamlessly during my supervisors absence.

As a Compliance Specialist I ensured all security vendors were properly licensed and insured by auditing and monitoring business processes and databases, communicating with vendors to obtain renewal documents, and confirming their accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with licensing authorities. I managed vendor compliance by coordinating with internal departments to address non-compliance issues and restricted access to future work orders when necessary. Additionally, I organized and maintained vendor documents across both digital and physical repositories and worked with internal teams to resolve compliance-related issues. I supported vendor onboarding by reviewing new applications and evaluating their value to the network, while also maintaining detailed records of all communications. I participated in weekly meetings to discuss business objectives, compliance needs, and provided feedback on process improvements. I contributed to the team by sharing best practices, ensuring consistent vendor interactions, and represented the company in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. I also performed additional tasks as required to meet business goals.
