In this hybrid role, I held full accountability for a $20M+ budget and 45 employees so that all children can build the global, cultural and linguistic competencies necessary for a thriving 21st century life. I oversaw design and execution of all global education programs across the network. Using human-centered design principles, I succeeded at weaving co-created solutions throughout the programmatic fabric with a laser-focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. To elevate organizational impact, I created and led efforts to diversify revenue streams through new product development and innovation. Leveraging Salesforce, Tableau, and Agile to monitor and socialize progress towards key performance indicators, I designed and directed enterprise dashboards. As a Director, I led efforts to interpret data, identify root causes, and provide actionable feedback to inform strategic planning and resource allocation. With an ambitious charge of turning around Detroit’s lowest-performing schools, I led complex workstreams across multiple teams to source and select this inaugural group of educators and related service providers for the EAA’s 15 schools. Research consistently points to teachers being the primary factor for student success. Leveraging data, research, and leading-edge technology, I helped design and implement a best-in-class recruitment and selection system that attracted our nation’s most talented educators to serve our 51k students.
