I may be a psychology student, but I can't read your mind (I promise). Currently, I'm in my first year of the BSc, and I am hoping to do a PhD in Clinical Psychology after I graduate. My passion for the subject started a long time ago when my granddad had a stroke; little me wanted to understand why him and I couldn't communicate anymore. I worked as a dispensing assistant in a pharmacy for 2 years, thus had the pleasure of working in the NHS during a global pandemic. If that doesn't describe resilience then I'm not sure what will. Jokes aside, I gained invaluable skills of teamwork, communication and a lot of patience. The job helped me realise that for my future career I want to help people, as that was my favourite part of it. I love reading and writing, especially poetry, and have competed in slam poetry competitions whilst at school. I also like running, and I hope to do my first half marathon within the next year.
