As a series producer he managed multi-million dollar budgets and large shows. He was a show creator and showrunner, a supervising producer and a series/episodic director. His hands-on knowledge of both fiction and non-fiction TV development, production and post-production proved invaluable in the creation of hundreds of hours of television.His greatest strengths were in building large, effective teams and helping them develop compelling stories for television that are delivered on time and under budget. He has directed and produced single-camera and multi-camera series in many different genres, including reality, design, travel, food, comedy and drama and he understands the production and post-production challenges of each.Prior to running his own series, Morgan spent several years directing, producing and editing — credits include series and pilots for Alliance/Atlantis, Global, Life Network, Slice, OWN, Comedy Network, Food Network, HGTV, Universal, Showtime, and W Network.He developed the ½-hour single-camera comedy Smart Woman Survival Guide with one of Canada’s top series producers, Al Magee. The scripted show followed the behind-the-scenes antics of the staff of a fictional lifestyle television show. He produced and directed the successful series for 3 seasons. From there, he served as showrunner for Fearless in the Kitchen, an unscripted food/reality show that he created, produced and directed.
