My journey is guided by a profound dedication to education, agriculture, and social change, rooted in the transformative power of abundance, sustainable practices, and community. In my most recent professional work, I've had the opportunity to focus on education within children's publishing, where I’ve collaborated with talented authors to further ignite young imaginations and promote a love for reading and learning. Beyond my career, I find immense fulfillment in volunteering, particularly within food justice and its connection to youth and unhoused people. These experiences have taught me the value of connection and the impact of empathy and understanding. Being actively involved in my community is at the core of who I am. I believe in the power of collective action to create lasting change, and I'm dedicated to building spaces where everyone's voice is heard and respected. As a Black and non-binary individual from a rural farming town in southern New Jersey, I carry with me the fruitful blossoms of my identity, which inform my work and advocacy for equality, diversity, and inclusion at all levels. It's through these intersections that I'm able to bring my unique perspective anywhere, striving to create a more just, empathetic, and imaginative world for all.
