CurrentFACP / Basically Beethoven’s mission is to enrich and enhance the quality of life for North Texas-area residents, especially families and children, through free concerts of classical music and voice, violin, and piano music residencies in Dallas schools.Leadership: Management and mentoring of core staff; onboarding and scheduling for all day players in FACP’s free concerts; booking and coordinating all performance venue rentals.Fundraising: Established new fundraising channels and follow-through by improving choice of software and data-entry protocols Finances: Reconciled record-keeping and navigated the move from QuickBooks desktop to QuickBooksOnline, and got our yearly audit done early.External Relations: Upgraded FACP’s website from a blog site to a vibrant site with new branding, including streamlining registration for concerts. Engaged on social media sites and gained new followers on all of them: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTubeProgram Development: Shored up our Education department through working with our Production Manager and Teaching Artists to improve communication and expectations. Worked closely with artistic directors to ensure audience appreciation and development.Grant Writing: Continued applying and updating established FACP grants and applied and garnered new ones, including a Capital One corporate sponsorshipBoard: Worked closely with Directors to navigate “founders syndrome;” establishing new organizational-flowchart, protocols, and shored up all communication and finances; strategic planning and oversight. www.basicallybeethoven.org
