I lead virtual information sessions for engineering labs covering a wide range of topics (Renewable Energy, Water Treatment, Electric Vehicles, Drug Delivery, etc). These hands-on labs introduce middle and high school students around the country to the engineering design process and to some of the different career paths available within engineering. Each session ends with a Q&A session, where I answer students’ questions about college and about my experiences with engineering.

I designed, developed, and tested prototypes for a new product that could enable category growth. I then performed consumer research, designing and leading qualitative interviews with 45 participants as well as a quantitative survey with 750 respondents. This research enabled a better understanding of the consumer response to my prototypes and allowed for the identification of the lead designs. Additionally, I collaborated with cross-functional partners to evaluate the feasibility of processing and manufacturing the lead prototypes.

I learned how to operate the Carbon Capture Pilot Plant at Imperial College as part of the University of Notre Dame Chemical Engineering Study Abroad. I developed skills in reading P&ID diagrams, writing startup and shutdown procedures for the plant, executing those procedures, responding to potential disruptions to the process, and working with an ABB Distributed Control System (DCS).

I worked with international team of virtual assessors responding to the 14 August 2021 M7.2 Earthquake in Haiti and forensically evaluated damage to 880 buildings, updating records in Fulcrum online database

I assisted in the instruction of 4 summer camps for 6th-9th grade students, covering topics such as Unity Game Design and Intro to Engineering
