• Collaborate with independent publishing houses on creative direction and book design, fiction and non-fiction• Establish creative direction for clients, communicate ideas, create visual concepts, and solve problems• Create non-fiction heavy-designed books like photography, craft, and cookbooks while maintaining authors’ branding and identity from conception to production• Develop digital marketing and print collaterals• Retouch and manipulate images such as color editing, resizing, and enhancing• Design logotypes, brand guidelines, and other print and digital collaterals

• Assist the Creative Director with a range of tasks including assigning titles to designers, managing the workload balance, maintaining deadlines and organization.• Lead a team of two junior designers, and provide training and design feedback to help them grow• Comply to deadlines and fast-paced schedules while sustaining high design quality standards• Participate in the photography direction and develop storyboards for heavily designed books• Review and supervise junior designer work to ensure quality from conception to delivery• Work closely with editors, authors and printers to ensure satisfaction on all ends• Participate to book binding choices while being conscious of budgeting, pricing and sustainability• Collaborate with the IT team to redesign Mango’s corporate website, as part as my UX design training• Submit book to appropriate printer maintaining communication with them regarding status of the book, and reviewing soft proofs for the team. Request templates and quotes.• Provide support in implementing Design Department initiatives when working with illustrators and authors with design backgrounds• Stay up to date with the design trends and the software evolutions

• Generate dynamic book designs that uphold the standards to meet the objectives of Mango Publishing group• Design covers and interior for non-fiction books such as, cookbooks, lifestyle, self-help, business, and more• Create a recognizable visual identity (look and feel) to Mango books• Design typesetting, graphic content, illustrations, and infographics• Be aware of ebook restrictions and design accordingly• Produce corporate documents for the company to ensure coherence • Develop Amazon Stores for authors and Mango

• Photo editing for a luxury clothing brand• Assist the photo editor by supplying the organized images within the given deadline• Enhance, remove imperfections, color correction and resize images, following the brand standards.

• Work closely with the Art Director, Creative Director, Web Designer and Print Production Specialist• Create logotypes, brochures, stationery and other assets the client needs• Assist the Web Design team to produce and comprehend digital assets• Be mindful of specifications for print and digital collateral• Work under fast-paced environment and tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once
