Recently, I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Mathematics. Right now, I’m attending San Francisco State University to complete my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. When I teach, I want to use my concentration to advance kids' knowledge and motivation to learn the subject. Ever since I was younger, I wanted to be a teacher. Math has always been my favorite subject, so when I was little, I used to run "my own classroom" for the summer with my brother and his friend. I would give them math worksheets and keep a grade book. I strive to be a role model for kids during my jobs and in my near future. I want to make sure kids have a person they are comfortable to be around and one that believes in them and all they can do with their life.
