About Morgan Ginn
The knowledge that the fashion industry is plagued with environmental and social abuses is no secret for many people in today's world. It was this realization that first ignited my passion for sustainable fashion, where I have devoted the last seven years of my career. As a futurist, I choose to believe and work towards a world in which fashion is a tool for good. I believe that we can use design to not just develop new styles but to design a better future for us all. By seeing the glass both half-empty and half-full, I believe that we can look the immense challenges that the industry faces in the eye and have the courage to dream of what could be. The levers I choose to pull on in my journey to a more sustainable fashion industry are circularity, made-on-demand manufacturing, and social impact. In my work at Accelerating Circularity, I support the development of new circular systems by engaging with stakeholders all across the circular value chain. My experience launching and growing my fashion brand, Vinn Designs, showed me the enormous opportunities and challenges of made-on-demand manufacturing. Through my many years in East Africa, my experience co-founding the social enterprise, Mtindo, and supporting the growth of many other social enterprises (Known Supply, Cycle Connect) I firsthand witnessed the power of fashion to transform communities.Currently, I am researching made-on-demand manufacturing and actively looking to speak with leaders in the space. My research seeks to inform the fashion industry of the opportunities and challenges that this model presents. Know of someone I should connect with? Let's connect!

Our two entities work hand in hand to advance employment for women and catalyze the fashion industry in Uganda. On an individual level, Mtindo is committed to empowering women in Uganda to design their own future.
