Maximize the financial benefits and overall impact for universities on technology transfer from their labs to industry :• In-depth analysis of the market potential of inventions: innovation value proposition, competitive analysis, market research, patent landscape in a wide range of industries (Virtual Reality, Energy Storage, Delivery Optimization Software, New Recycled Plastics) and identify opportunities for investments, • Define technology development plan based on customer feedbacks and seek public and private funding to bring technologies from TRL 2 to TRL 4-5,• Manage intellectual property assets (patent, copyright, open source or proprietary software) and associated budgets,• Find the right licensees for the technologies and build win-win relationships with business partners (SMEs or major players),• Structure and close licensing deals (including payments, royalties, milestones …),• Engage stakeholders to make the adoption of a technology a success.• Provide business advice and counsel to start-up companies in their various stages and assist entrepreneurs to evaluate their idea, business plan and transition to startup creation,• Support entrepreneurship initiatives: mentoring, start-up competition jury member,• Acting Team Lead, Recruitment, Mentoring of team members and Supervision,• Understand and meet customer and strategic partner expectations. Development of embedded code for ROHM IC for decoding AAC/AAC+ data (iTunes file format): • Defined requirements in collaboration with Japanese and Chinese R&D centers, • Software development, including integration on ARM7/9 and debugging.• Supporting the sales team by preparing marketing materials and making demo to potential customers.

Pre-integration and validation of DSP for a GSM/GPRS/AMR receiver (2 - 2.5G) :• Complete analysis of the channel encoding algorithms under test.• Validation of the TeakLite DSP code developped by an Indian partner, including test vectors and script files development. • Propose bug patches to the partner software team • Constant communications with Japanese HQ and Indian R&D center.

Development of the channel encoding/decoding part of a UMTS receiver (3G) : • Development in C/C++ and validation of channel encoding/decoding algorithms for UMTS.• In-person and remote collaboration with a Shanghai-based partner.
