I'm currently serving within an assistant role to ensure a thoughtful, pleasant, and safe experience for all residents during their daily activities. I help plan and orchestrate special events and a wide range of activities including Bingo and game or card playing, workout or exercise classes, group walks, movie watching, sing-alongs, music listening sessions, and live stream church services. I collaborate with the Activities Director to formulate engaging programs for ~40 Brookdale residents.

This was my first position in my desired career path and I built relationships with the Enclave residents and helped provide activities program assistance to ensure positive engagement for over 100 seniors.I worked to facilitate one-on-one and group activities - we held workout classes, hosted trivia and game events, and hosted a New Year’s Eve party, happy hours, painting sessions, and water aerobics. I typically worked with 6-10 residents at a time due to pandemic restrictions and safety precautions. ★ I was a flexible and dedicated employee and was happy to help wherever I was needed. I additionally served as an Administrative Assistant to The Enclave’s Office Manager to help manage the additional needs and requirements due to COVID-19. I scheduled resident vaccine appointments and organized correlating records for each administered vaccination, and I worked with the Office Manager to streamline and communicate social distancing and vaccination processes to staff, residents, and resident families.
