I co-founded CleanFi to make it easy for customers to finance green building upgrades to their commercial properties. I maintain the code base. We've done millions in financing across the 50 states -- call us so we can finance your commercial project!I lead development at the company: Python APIs, React, Postgres, Terraform on AWS.

Successful exit in summer of '23. I founded Wox Campaigns with friends to address a market gap -- no one was doing site based canvassing well. I led the company to become a market leader with north of $1M in revenue, and millions of signatures collected across the country every year to get initiatives on the ballot. My main job was leading software (4 man team) and working in the stack day in and day out -- Python and React on a microservice architecture. We also custom built lots of key components, including OCR to validate signatures and D3.js visualization to validate campaign progress.

Lead engineer on a team of 3 building web and mobile apps for AAA's roadside assistance division. We deployed a new dashboard and mobile app to monitor 16 million road side service calls across the country. Using the data this gathered, we were able to build a new scheduler that allowed independent operators to correctly schedule and position trucks to respond faster to calls on busy times. Loved this job because of how visual and well defined the problem was.Python, terraform, Vue.js, lots of queues and backed processing. Head in the codebase every day.

My years in the political trenches. Most of my work was around automating email systems and voter targeting, but I cut my teeth on a lot of plain old door knocking and organizing.Biggest feathers in my cap: Leading the Jeffco Country School Board to a victory in the 2015 recall that reset education policy in the 700k person county, electing Jack Kroll, a complete political unknown and friend, to the Colorado Board of Regents, and leading Mayor Michael Hancock's communication efforts for the North Denver redevelopment plan.

Cycled 16,000 miles between Paris and Shanghai. I published more than 125 articles over the course of 20 months on our blogs, and in publications like The Atlantic, NPR, and The Huffington Post. Got very sick, very in shape, and truly saw a changing world. Organized Startup Weekend Ideas Week, and built a team that still runs it to this day. The Weekend long event brought together 130 entrepreneurs to pitch build, and launch prototypes in less than 54 hours. Managed a core of team of five, and built a network of campus ambassadors at 10 major Midwest schools to attract top students to the event. Raised the money to fund it.

Was a member of the founding team that helped grow Moneythink into a major financial literacy nonprofit. Developed entrepreneurship curriculum and program. Founded a sustainable development and marketing program, where I managed a team of 15 volunteers and raised the annual $30,000 budget for the organization. The organization is still running with a multi-million dollar grant from the Gates Foundation.
