My name is Morgan Heap and I am currently a student at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University! I’m majoring in Information Systems with an emphasis in Data Engineering. I have always loved pushing myself to learn new skills, some including: Python, SQL, baking french macarons, long-distance running, or becoming an equestrian!I grew up in a small town called Syracuse, Utah where I learned my love for numbers and math. I always knew I wanted it to be a part of my career, but had a hard time decided exactly what I wanted to be. It wasn’t until I took a data class in college when I realized my aspiration to work with data. From then on, I have been working a data engineering internship at Netcuras, Inc. while pursuing my degree in IS data engineering! I’m always on the hunt for experiences that will test my skills and help me develop new ones to help further my career!I will be completing my academic studies at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan as an exchange student! Studying under their school of Fundamental Science and Engineering is a dream come true, and I am filled with anticipation and curiosity about the valuable lessons Japan has in store for me!
