I assist Liberty Resources in fullfilling it's core services for disabled people by working with colleagues in Independent Living Servicss. Our team provides information and referral, peer support, skills training, advocacy, and nursing home transition and youth transition. I assist LRI with the one-step campaign, which advocated for businesses to become accessible under the ADA. I also run the peer support group for people with psychiatric disabilities. The Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly (CARIE) is a non-profit organization, based in Philadelphia, that has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable older people since 1977.I invoice contracts, reconcile postage and credit cards, process check requests, pay bills and do payroll for 18 employees. I also ensure that we keep proper records and financial documentation.I assist staff by processing new employees' paperwork, ensuring that employees' files are complete, assisting employees in benefit enrollment, and tracking vacation and leave requests.
