 Appointed to assist the Executive Board with the sale of the company via MBO or trade sale. Additional duties involved the giving of strategic, financial and operational advice to the Board. Tasked with implementing a profitability improvement programme that included the full implementation of new financial and business intelligence systems and procedures.  Assumed senior management oversight for the Group’s treasury division which arranges circa $6billion of foreign exchange and turns over circa $195 billion of fixed deposits a year.

Appointed post acquisition to lead the project management office to integrate Walbrook Group into Barclays wealth.

Walbrook Group was an independent offshore fiduciary and corporate services provider with offices in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Hong Kong. The Group was formerly part of Deloittes until a successful MBO in 2003, backed by Hermes Private Equity, and was subsequently acquired by Barclays Wealth in 2007.I was part of the managment buy-out team and was appointed to work closely with the Chief Executive on strategic direction and operational matters.
