Second product design hire at Popsugar responsible for popsugar.com, Popsugar Must Have, 9 iOs apps, Apple TV and Roku apps, and a number of sales tools and internal dashboards. Key projects: • Designed UI/UX for Trendrank, an internal analytics dashboard for predicting trends before they happen. • Owned the visual and UX design of Popsugar’s email acquisition efforts, which resulted in an increase in the number of subscriptions per user by 60%. • UI/UX for Popsugar flagship Apple TV app, which later informed designs for other OTT apps on Roku and FireTV, and Popsugar Active Apple TV app. • UX on internal content management system used internally by 100+ editors, bloggers, and influencers.

Acquired by Startups.co in 2016, Zana provided on-demand access to top mentors, leading experts and peer-led coaching. It gave entrepreneurs access short and curated video lessons, answers to top questions and the right tools to help turn their vision into a reality. As Zana's first User Experience Designer, I was hired to improve the usability of the site and tackle user acquisition. Key projects included a revamp of the site architecture, a redesign of the user onboarding experience, and updated branding and a visual overhaul of the zana.io homepage.

Worked with a footwear startup to build out the consumer side of their business by expanding knowledge of their target markets. Performed user research, analyzed competitor strategies, and created personas based on findings. Redesigned Mohinders’ e-commerce site to better tell the Mohinders story and engage customers while also meeting stakeholder needs.

Executed product marketing strategy for the launch of Whistle’s pet activity monitor as one of a two-person marketing team. Focused on social media marketing including content creation and curation, user engagement campaigns, analytics and tracking, and influencer outreach. Created visual assets and copy for blog, email marketing, and physical collateral.

Edited and retouched photos, designed album layouts, and produced final products for photography & design studio on Treasure Island. Provided recommendations for marketing strategy based on analysis of competitors’ advertising and brands.
