My professional interests lie in finding cost effective and sustainable solutions to industrial problems. I have gained industry experience through my previous position as a Process Engineer at HBW Solutions. I worked as a consultant for food and pharmaceutical companies with Clean-in-Place design and process equipment support. Through this job I have gained experience in working in cross-functional teams, detail orientated documentation, and software such as AutoCAD and Revu Blue Beam for P&ID and PFD generation. I was responsible for deliverables such as fluid and CAD modeling, as well as writing documentation such as P&IDs, Isometrics, SOP, CIP, or LOTO procedures. My most recent projects include pump specification for neutralization of waste from a product tank, project management support for a pharmaceutical packaging line, and validation support for an Agitated Filter Dryer. Working closely with clients I developed strong communication and problem-solving skills, which were essential for delivering detail-oriented reports and processes. With my positions within my professional engineering fraternity Theta Tau and my job as Student Recycling Coordinator, I have gained experience with leadership, public speaking, and education.
