I currently write 2-4 articles per month for the education beat of the Riverton Journal, a local newspaper operating under the larger City Journals organization. My articles are published in the print edition of the paper each month, and many have made the front page. My articles are also published online each month.

I taught journalism classes for six years at Rockwell Charter High School. I taught both print/digital journalism and broadcast journalism, as well as a communications class. I also worked as Student Council Advisor and taught English 10 and Communications classes for three of those six years. I started the journalism program at Rockwell and our broadcast.

I write editorial and profile pieces for the online and soon-to-be print versions of Villager Magazine, which mainly features local businesses and well-known personalities.

I worked as a social media and journalism intern for More Good Foundation where I produced an average of 2-3 articles per day for the non-profit's social news network, LDS.net. Pieces included both aggregated content as well as several original pieces that were published throughout the course of the semester. I push our articles to our targeted audience.

I teach an average of 20 piano students each week and organize semi-annual recitals in which they are able to perform pieces they have been working on throughout the year.

I assist the Executive Director in preparing a monthly newsletter that is sent to over 7,000 families of new freshmen. I also work with the Executive Director to organize and carry out Commencement services each April and August.

I was in charge of a group of 10-15 girls each week. I prepared inspiring messages to share with them multiple times each day, played games with them, helped them understand the importance of when it's appropriate to be serious when and being energetic and outgoing is equally appropriate. I had a responsibility to keep them safe, and enjoyed teaching them.
