In this position, I receive, review and process applications for the Computer Science graduate programs. Weekly tasks include following up with applicants on missing items, receipt of required documentation and decisions once made, as well as responding to inquiries from prospective students. I organize, schedule and attend meetings pertaining to graduate admissions and initiatives. Besides maintaining the application database with application status, I also advise the admissions committee to maintain accurate admissions policies that are consistent with University admissions requirements.I am responsible for planning and organizing recruiting events such as CS Visit Days and both internal and external informational events for prospective students. Preparing correspondence for newly admitted graduate students for research and teaching assignments, and assisting with fellowship paperwork for submission to the Graduate College is an important part of my role. Additionally, I am tasked with curating the admissions data for the graduate programs, preparing reports on the graduate program, applications, and admissions for the Department, College, and Graduate College. Finally, I maintain graduate program’s admissions pages on the website and assist with various publications providing admissions information for prospective students.

Vice President/President Elect of ILACADA for the November 2023-November 2025 term. As the Illinois branch of NACADA, the global community of academic advising, we host two conferences per year, offer professional development opportunities, and promote engagement with fellow academic advisors.

Communications Chair for Region 5 of NACADA, the Global Community for Academic Advising. R5 oversees the Great Lakes: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Nunavut + Ontario, CA. I am responsible for upkeeping messaging to R5 members about opportunities, events, and updates within NACADA. I also record keep during committee meetings and send pertinent information to members as needed.

I was responsible for all communications and processes related to administering the Visiting Professor program, where faculty from USAC's 33 Consortium Universities teach abroad for a term. This entails working with up to 200 faculty who are at various stages of the program process daily, as well as regular communication with USAC's Affiliate universities, Board Members, Resident Directors, and CEO while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I also occasionally traveled to visit university campuses in the US.

As a Sales Associate/Events Intern for Share and Do Good, I oversaw and maintained overall store presentation and assist with customer inquiries and sales. I provided assistance to customers and fellow sales representatives as needed, handling incoming orders and organizing our storage and inventory. I also informed customers and visitors of the various non profit brands we partner with and how the products we sell help people around the world. I planned and executed weekly and monthly events, social media outreach, and public relations campaigns. Following the events, I composed blog posts summarizing events and upcoming opportunities for community involvement.

I also developed evaluation tools and procedures designed to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
