My tenure as General Manager of Campfire Labs can be divided into two eras: the period before we hired Morgan, and the period after. In the “before times,” we survived on instincts, memory, and a few roughshod systems and processes. While okay for a small team, it created a lot of inefficiency and severely limited our ability to grow and scale as a business.
Morgan came in and, from day one, helped us overhaul our systems and processes. She quickly diagnosed our most critical deficiencies, making strong recommendations and seamlessly migrating our task management system from Asana to ClickUp. With a strong foundation to build on, she embarked on a series of improvements to our editorial operations, from changing the way we organize projects and manage internal capacity, to implementing new editorial standards and key initiatives aimed at elevating the client experience.

One of my favorite moments working with Morgan was announcing her promotion to Director of Editorial Operations and seeing the reactions of not just her fellow team members, but clients who had developed relationships with Morgan and seen firsthand both the type of person she is and the impact she made on our business.
