As a CRC at the new and rapidly developing Brain Institute I assist in planning, managing, organizing, and helping execute complex multidisciplinary clinical trials. Current trials include pilot and collaborative studies aimed at investigating innovative strategies and treatments for treating epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, glioblastoma, and autism.

Responsible for all parts of a research project aimed at investigating the neural correlates of cognitive aging through structural and functional neuroimaging techniques. Responsibilities include: recruiting, scheduling, and running participants, organizing and analyzing MRI, fMRI, cognitive, behavioral, and genetic data.

Responsible for updating and managing the Center's website: uvacontemplation.org, working guest lecturer events, and quality control for the Center's free online course on Coursera.

- Responsible for executing experiments, running and debriefing participants, and participating in bi-weekly lab meetings- Involved with 2 experiments studying memory and cognition: a meta-analysis of archival data and an experiment measuring different methods to improve memory, and effects on confidence

- I managed daily store functions, including leading the sales team by setting goals and providing hourly feedback. - I provided customer service to the guests. - I was responsible for opening and closing the store, and handling deposits. - I created and set merchandise displays in the store, which required constantly innovating and refreshing to provide a fresh and appealing look to the store daily.
