My grandmother always told me “If you don’t find a career working with animals, it would be such a waste!”. She has witnessed the adoration I have had for living creatures since I was little. Throughout my life I have fallen more deeply in love with and have become more protective of the lives we share our planet with. I have discovered the importance of animals to the health of our ecosystems from competing in a Veterinary Science team and raising rabbits in FFA in high school to studying and tutoring in the complex biology of animals as well as environmental science in higher education. This knowledge drives me to dedicate my life to being a passionate voice for animals by playing a role in rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife.
