Works closely with the employee relations staff assisting with internal investigations. Responsible for completing company unemployment claims. Maintains employees records, I9 paperwork, new hire processing and organization donation claims. Completes various quarterly audits which include employee file maintenance and voluntary employee records.

I meet with any student looking for additional understanding with marketing classes. My duties include going over course work material and setting up a tutoring plan that allows the student to meet their marketing class goals.

I oversee the retail store during my shifts which can include opening or closing the store and managing 3-7 associates.

As a sales assistant, I handle the responsibilities of welcoming customers and finding the clothing they are seeking. I also assist customer's needs in the fitting room by finding them correct sizes and offering my opinion on their outfit selections.

During the holiday season, I held a manager status and took on the responsibilities of being in charge of all other employees working during my shift. I was responsible of opening the store which required counting cash drawers, making the bank deposit, and making sure all marketing changes were ready for the day's opening.

Thistledown Racino

As an intern at the Thistledown Racino, I was able to gain a better understanding on the various duties of Human Resource employees. I took part in observing employee conduct meetings and received a better understanding for the role of those involved in employee relations. I also took part helping with the many tasks involved in the recruitment process including reviewing applications, helping set up panel interviews, and completing paperwork with new employees.

As a cashier, I would take the orders of customers from drive thru or the counter. I would also work in the dinning room and was responsible for making sure all tables were wiped down, trays were cleaned, and customers needs were always met even after their order had been completed at the register.
