Hello, I'm Morgan Murphy, a dynamic and driven professional with a keen interest in sports and event management. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, showcasing my dedication to academic excellence.I have gained valuable experience in the hospitality and service industry throughout my career. From my time as a server assistant, host, and expo at Nippon Tei to my position as a server at Red Lobster, I have honed my customer service and communication skills. Currently, I am working as an event server at Olive + Oak Events, where I take guests' orders, clean tables, and even bartend.My true passion, however, lies in coaching and instructing young athletes. As the head coach and hitting instructor at Southside Prospects, I am responsible for planning and running practices, running drills, and teaching individual aspects of the sport. In addition, I have also volunteered as a baseball coach at the Albert Pujols Pro Camp and Brentwood High School. I have also spent time volunteering at the 2023 MVC basketball tournament. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and dedication.My ultimate goal is to use my skills and experience to pursue a career in sports management and event planning.
