I love being exposed to many different types of people in different environments and using their experiences to teach me something new. During my 3 years at BYU Idaho, I have learned more than I could imagine about houseplants, perennials, floral design, and event planning. I still have around a year before I graduate with my bachelor’s degree, and I am very excited to continue learning in the classroom setting. I have also been able to gain hands on experience during my internship at J&J Nursery and Garden Center. My goal is to gain more experience in the greenhouse and cut flower farm industries. I hope to be able to apply what I do know to any situation I am in and will have an open mind to learn even more.
