    Currently, I serve as the Director of Academic Services for Clemson’s Computing and Information Technology Office. I manage a staff of 19 (with three direct managerial reports). My responsibilities include oversight of the student ERP (Ellucian’s Banner system and associated technologies) as well as other academic technologies. I manage the flow of work to the developers and database administrators of the ERP and liaise with the functional business analysts to ensure that testing and documentation of the system for upgrades and development modification occurs. In this role, I revitalized the University governance committee managing the ERP. I also manage the operational budget (1.3 M) for the ERP. Recent accomplishments include: creation of a scorecard for requested items to be used by the ERP’s governance committee; overhaul of the complete stack of the ERP (moving to Oracle Linux 8, moving from Weblogic to TomCat); purchase and development of a new, modern workflow tool integrating with the ERP; moving the team from a waterfall approach to an agile one; and dramatically improving the relationship between IT and our functional customers. Additionally, I have identified and managed the onboarding/offboarding of contingent staff when needed to meet objectives of the institution.
