. Spent time to volunteer then travel through Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia to see more of the world. I used the time to reconnect with myself, recharge, and refocus on what I'm passionate about.. Road-tripped up western coast of the US, camping and hiking along the way to culminate in a through-hike of The Enchantments in Washington.

. Communicated with multiple levels of an organization ranging from C-suite and department heads to junior staff during strategy workshops, programming interviews, and design presentations.. Collaborated with studio director and team from initial programming phase through design development, later coordinating with consultants, vendors, and GC to resolve construction issues and uphold design intent.. Developed test fits, space plans and pre-construction documents to convey initial design intent to GC for preliminary pricing.. Led production of documents and visual elements for design presentations from wireframes to completion.. Developed concept and FF&E palette options, refining direction through client collaboration.. Coordinated with job captain/architectural designers in creation of construction documents.. Highly involved during CA and project close-out to manage RFIs, submittals, furniture placement, and punch walks with GC and furniture vendors.

Time with EDG as a junior designer was characterized by rapid growth as a result of taking on significant support roles within projects and several opportunities to be lead designer. . Managed up to 4 projects in different phases simultaneously, working under Senior/Intermediate Designer or as lead designer.. Assisted or lead the development of spatial programming, concepts, FF&E palettes, architectural designs, construction and presentation documents, and client presentations.. Developed concept packages and mood boards based on research of a locale and culture to inform architectural design, furniture and finish selections.. Documented buy out and custom furniture specifications (researching lead times, pricing and finishes).. Brands involved with included: Peninsula, Fairmont, Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Renaissance, Hyatt, Marriott, and The Bristol (Panama)
