About Mo Wynne

I’m Mo, a writer by day — and sometimes by night, too. I’ve tackled a myriad of projects with words: Live tweeting from Lincoln Center galas; producing digital content for New York Public Radio’s WQXR; and developing videos for Google, Android, Coursera, the University of Michigan, and other organizations. Most recently, I served as Kalderos’ copywriter, contributing to multi-channel digital campaigns, writing thought leadership pieces, and authoring ads in the B2B SaaS healthtech space. Give me something complex and/or arduous and/or all-consuming, and I’ll find a way to distill it into its simplest parts. We’ll have some fun in the process, too.Alongside my writing, I’ve also directed and produced a handful of documentary shorts. My award-winning films have screened in the U.S. and internationally, appearing on The New Yorker and Short of the Week.     Yoga Teacher TrainingMy writing is informed in part by other creative pursuits. Nearly a decade ago, I found myself in a Yoga for Performers class—it counted toward my undergraduate degree!—and have been practicing yoga ever since. In July 2022, I had the opportunity to embark on a 200-hour yoga teacher training at PURE Yoga in NYC. Through the training, I deepened my personal yoga practice with asana labs, pranayama study, Sanskrit and history lessons, and lots of personal inquiry. I also gained invaluable leadership skills: a beginner's mindset, confidence in my clear communication, and the ability to consider vastly different life experiences than my own when making decisions.After completing my training, I began using these skills to teach vinyasa and meditation classes in-person in Brooklyn and virtually to folks based all around the world. I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned over the past six months to my next position!
