My role includes leading with global administration of our banking systems like Payzim/Swifin; leading all national level banking regulatory compliance and risk management with relevant regulators; setting up CST operations in different African countries; guiding national teams led by a Country Managing Director (CMD) and various MDs of specialized units to implement the CST vision, mission and objectives; Leading the company’s global knowledge management strategy through institutionalized research, university linkages and other smart partnerships and continued business systems design and analysis to suit our model to the local environments of various African countries. The job also comes with a lot of Business development and corporate finance. After setting up the various e-commerce platforms and products which include B2B and B2C platforms, it became my responsibility to approach the regulator (Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, RBZ), the national switch (ZimSwitch), local banks and local telcos for integrations. As systems analyst, together with my systems administrator I am in charge of coordinating system integrations which involve technical teams from the UK, USA, Zimbabwe, Kenya and South Africa.Particularly due to the thrust on knowledge management, my organisation also developed various university linkages under my watch. This included major national universities (Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE); Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) and others. We have also scored one global partnership in Portugal through our Social Investment unit.

My career in knowledge management led me to Systems Analysis and Design. This includes creation of applied systems for e-commerce. After successfully designing and implementing a few systems I became Acting Country Managing Director where I was under tutorship to set up CST Zimbabwe by the Headquarters in UK.Based on my exposure in knowledge management systems, I was tasked to formally transform the organisation into a knowledge based organisation. CST Advisory Services is a consortium of specialised minds that has resultantly thrived on knowledge, expertise and purposive synergies to offer winning solutions to stakeholders’ challenges. By embracing a knowledge based approach, we ushered in the African business environment global standards in evidence based practice to meet clients’ unique requirements for e-commerce and high levels of efficiency and accountability. The model was developed in light of the emerging, pervasive 21st century global knowledge economy where knowledge is taken to be a currency of wealth, industrial, services and overall economic development. However ICT is recognised as the chief mediator of knowledge which enables people and organisations to create, store, distribute and utilise knowledge: knowledge management.Besides strategic and operational planning, I was involved in systems design and analysis for our custom solutions. I was involved in the development of a Custom Protocol Management Application (CPMA) which is used in all our units to facilitate knowledge based management and evidence based practice. This is achieved through codifying the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of a given organisation or project onto the CPMA using simple menus and interfaces with intensive data collection. This leads to systematic complete or partial business automation and data based; real time monitoring and evaluation; measurable, tranched and outcomes/impact based funds disbursement to remove moral gazard across the channel.

I started teaching Management Information Systems (MIS) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the department of Social Studies as well as Research Methods at the Women's University in Africa (WUA) in Harare Zimbabwe.

I was a program Management Officer for the cohort of the Progam in International Education (PIE) at IILE Bard College, New York USA. My roles included office administration of the various activities related to the arrival and integration of students from Russia, Eastern Europe and South Africa.
