Driven changemaker committed to strengthening communities using transformative solutions that decrease pervasive inequity in our society. Called to action by the ways criticality, intentionality, and sustainability enable us to return to ourselves and, in turn, transform our communities.~~~What is the question that makes you move? As a youth advocate, movement artist, and educator, for me that question is: how can I intentionally create spaces for growth and healing?Since graduating, I've spent the past five years seeking out innovative work spaces that enable me to blend my creativity and ambition to find transformative solutions to that question. My most recent experience as a program specialist at a non-profit foundation and my previous work as an educator and program manager in the public charter school system have afforded me the opportunity to specialize in youth development, team management, and program implementation within the realm of social impact. My dedication to creating culturally responsive work environments using transformative justice pedagogy has ignited continuous growth and sustainable change in not only my student caseloads but also in the teams I manage and/or am a member of.Through my experience working within communities both here and abroad, I have only just begun answering my driving question. Change is a movement fueled by strengthening our bodies, minds, and communities and I strive to continue to make space for growth and healing through a commitment to sustainable and transformative solutions in all my future endeavors.~~~
