The bulk of my experience lies in food, event, product, and portrait photography. In the last several years I have worked on projects with many area outlets as well as restaurants and companies like Amazon Restaurants and Caviar food delivery. I have a great deal of experience working with both organizations and individuals at events and in sensitive situations that require grace under pressure and keeping to the shadows while still capturing beautiful images. Even with a wide variety of experiences under my belt I'm always looking for a new challenge whether it be in the studio or out and about using available light. My love of the photographic arts always drives me and I have the passion and knowledge to accomplish whatever I set my mind to.

I have opened my own shop as it were as a freelance web developer and photographer. My skillset is broad as a web developer with over 10 years experience in the field working with both small start ups and large corporations. I am extremely well-versed in HTML, CSS, CSS3, javascript and jQuery as well as development with several versions of CMS such as Wordpress and Koken with some experience in Drupal as well. I have a background in JAVA, SQL and PHP that allows me to work seamlessly with back-end developers as well as extensive experience using Photoshop to manipulate graphics and/or create the same design effect using CSS/jQuery without using a single image. Much of my work has been in the corporate realm but I truly enjoy working with small firms as well.

Created maintain the site and now provide majority of content for the music-specific site InsideRightWrist.com. I also work as editor to all other contributors and use social media marketing to boost readership after new content is posted to the site. Content post frequency ranges from several times daily to a few times a week. I act as principal photographer to arts events ranging from large fundraising galas to small live music events at local venues. I set up all contact between the site and PR firms, Artist Management, Venues and Artists themselves to gain access to interviews and live shows as well as gain press credentials for myself and all other contributors.

My role at Seattle Weekly is constantly changing and allowing me to learn new facets of print media and the digital newsroom. Half of my time is spent out in the field shooting portraits, landscapes, architecture, events and other news items for each week's edition. The other half of my time is spent posting new pieces as they come in each week, adding headlines, writing short heads, posting to social media, sourcing photos and developing a cleaner and more cohesive set of posts to create an elegant website that's easier to read and understand.

A critical part of the Creative Services team within the Marketing Division. As the only dedicated developer, project owners looked to me for any and all coding needs. This ranged from simple updates to full micro-sites built from scratch. Most projects required heavy use of jQuery, HTML and CSS.
