As the photography lab technician at Howard Community college, I manage the photography department which includes a darkroom, a lighting studio, and a Mac lab. I ensure that all components of the darkroom are in working order which includes mixing chemicals, checking enlargers, and setting up/breaking down. I also assist students with any issues that may occur with developing, printing, shooting in the studio, and using any of the Adobe photo editing software.
