Hi, I'm Mo & I love what I do! I love working with people & getting to know their stories. This passion has been the driving force behind all of my decisions- including my career decisions.Early on, I began my career in the food service industry. I loved this position because it built a solid foundation of serving others and going above-and-beyond. As I pursued my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, I worked in consumer electronics. This was perfect for me because I got to incorporate my love of technology with my passion for helping others. I got to meet new people every day, get to know them, & use my technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to find a complete solution for each and every person I worked with.From there, as I finished up my degree, I transitioned to a benefits coordination role. I was the project manager for multiple clients simultaneously and became well-versed in communication via phone and email.This experience brought me to my first SAAS company to work as a Customer Support Associate. This let me take all of the experience I had and begin to use it in new ways. Rather than talking to people face-to-face or over the phone, I began to use chat- based communication to connect with and solve problems for our members. I get to help them reach their marketing goals, troubleshoot to resolve technical issues, and be available for any further questions they may have.Through that role, I got to expand my knowledge into hiring. I became responsible for screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating the entire interview process for our internal team as well as the candidate, and ensuring that all involved have a positive experience throughout the entire process. I continued to assist with this during hiring periods. Following that, I got promoted to a Customer Support Manager position. It had been my goal for quite a while to move into a people leadership role and I loved being able to do that. I loved being in a position where I was able to encourage others, hold them accountable, be an empathetic leader, and push my team to achieve even more!As time went on, I made the decision to return to my original goal which was to work in the medical field. I am currently in school to become an RN. Simultaneously, though, I plan to continue thriving in my current career and helping as many people as I can along the way.
