Provides a wide range of investigative, training, consulting and risk based security products and services to all lines of business within the North Florida region. These services are provided in order to reduce or prevent the potential for criminal acts against company assets, team members, and customers and to minimize the losses when these acts do occur. Serves as the primary client contact for Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, and security contractors. Responds to and conducts comprehensive investigations and risk assessments of potential or actual incidents of workplace violence, bank robberies, burglaries, and thefts 24 hours a day. Participates in the security planning process for new facilities, facility remodels, ATM installations, and corporate mergers and acquisitions to specify the appropriate security equipment and policies required. Serves as lead on project teams and acts as primary on high profile or more complex cases such as computer crimes and breeches of information security policies. Responsible for Emergency Management of disaster events within the southeast. Shares responsibility for security assessments related to travel for team members in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Maintained the daily functions of the Physical Security Program consistent with current Department of Defense Physical Security Regulations as updated, usually yearly; identified critical areas requiring protective measures, and recommended solutions to physical security deficiencies, corrective actions required and recommendations; conducted classes and briefings; and staff studies weekly. Makes work assignments for police based on capability and qualification of the individual and in consideration of level of protection required to adequately safeguard work activities in various locations. Provides advice and counsel to employees relative to work and administrative matters. Observes or responds to reports of crime ranging from violations of simple rules, felonies, and capital crimes.

1989 – 94: Promoted from Private, through Private-2, Private First Class, to Specialist in 18 months. Laterally Promoted to Corporal. Deployed to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq. Acted as Gunner, Driver, and Team Leader. 1994-1997: Promoted to Sergeant, deployed to Bosnia in support of NATO. Acted as Team Leader Protective Services Detail for Division Provost Marshal.1998 – 2002: Promoted to Staff Sergeant, attended Military Police Investigator Course, supported numerous special events, performing patrols, investigations, police intelligence, and police special operations. Supported Operation Noble Eagle in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001. Acted as Squad Leader, Investigator. 2003 - 2005: Promoted to Sergeant First Class, acted as unit First Seargeant in Germany and Investigations Liason with Air Force Investigations and UK Forces in England. Deployed to Iraq and acted as Base Defense Liaison and Investigator.2005 – 2006: Deployed to Iraq. Acted as Special Response Team Leader and Senior Investigator in the Counter Insurgency, Investigations, and Intelligence Cell at the Theater Internment Facilities at Abu Ghraib and Baghdad International Airport. 2007 – 2008: Promoted to Master Sergeant, laterally promoted to First Sergeant, attended Combat Advisor Course, deployed to Iraq, acted as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander, lead and trained a Protective Services Detail for 18 General Officers and their attendant Sergeants Major. 2009: Assigned to the US Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID). Acted as Operations NCO and Investigator. 2010 - 2014: Assigned to Joint Special Operations Command. Deployed to Afghanistan. Worked in the intelligence community to facilitate interagency cooperation and operability in support. Acted as Special Security Officer, and Investigator.

Managed a five person office dealing with Information Security Program Manager for 423 Air Base Group in support of the Joint Analysis Center (European Command), Chief of Security Forces Administration 423 Security Forces Squadron, Pass and Registration, Personnel Security, Information Security, Local National and Third Country National Personnel Security, operation of JPAS, SFMIS, EPSQ, analysis of law enforcement intelligence information, coordination of assets and funding for projects including biometric capture equipment and installation. Additional duties included acting as 420 Air Base Wings Information Security Program Manager, and training advisor to the 423 SFS High Risk Entry Team (Special Reaction Team) Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Administration and Reports Flight, ensuring that administrative security programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Researched, interpreted, analyzed and applied security guidelines, programs, methods, and procedures. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of assigned administrative security programs. Established metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points. Accepted, amended, or rejected work presented by subordinates. Performed self-inspection and presented detailed and comprehensive report with any corrective action taken to supervisor. Established, developed, and maintained effective working relationships with other squadron within the wing and other staff offices on base.
