Provide lean six sigma, continuous improvement and problem solving training and consulting services to Quality Support Group clients.

• Responsible for researching, planning, training, executing and facilitating operational improvement programs in order to create a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing that leads to associate empowerment, elimination of waste, and improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.• Lead Kaizen events designed to move forward and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.• Identify opportunities for Kaizen events that include identification of quantifiable and sustainable results.• Develop and communicate metrics for measurement of continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze quantitative and qualitative results related to initiatives on a continual basis.

• Transformed factory culture by delivering Lean Manufacturing training to over 400 Intel employees world-wide through a one week Lean Experience class. Intel’s Hudson factory reduced its production cycle time by over 60% and equipment downtime by over 50% through the implementation of thousands of small and rapid improvements and the elimination of hundreds of non-value added activities.• As a Structured Problem Solving Facilitator, led over a dozen teams chartered with addressing the most challenging problems facing the organization. Coached these teams through the process of identifying and testing models to determine which would eliminate the root cause of the problem. One effort resulted in the reduction of customer issues by over 80%; another resolved an integrated problem across three international manufacturing sites, and a third enabled the factory constraint to meet target inventory levels and cycle time goals, increasing overall factory output.• Co-chaired Hudson Site Safety Steering Committee, providing leadership and direction to help transform the site’s safety record from the worst to the best at Intel.• As Session Chair, provided coaching to Intel presenters sharing best known methods biennially at Intel’s Manufacturing Excellence Conference.

• Led a cross-functional team through a $35 million project to safely decontaminate, decommission and de-install factory tools for reuse, resale and recycle during times of uncertainty and turmoil after the decision to close the factory was announced. • Developed systems and processes to ensure that all factory tools would be decontaminated and safely removed, both on schedule and on budget.

• Deployed a real-time spending monitoring system and business processes to thirteen manufacturing sites across Intel worldwide, enabling greater visibility to spending and resulting in ~$50 million in cost savings.• Successfully managed the Hudson factory’s ~$30 million dollar quarterly budget, consistently meeting spending targets throughout 2012 and 2013.

• Led a cross-functional technical development team spanning many Intel geographies and business groups to introduce a new testing platform to provide new capability to the wafer test operation.• Managed a group of >100 manufacturing technicians across a 24x7 operations team that consistently met or exceeded all safety, quality and operational deliverables.• As part of the acquisition of the Hudson facility from Digital Equipment, played a key leadership role on the Intel integration team that helped establish new methodologies and introduce Intel policies and procedures to former Digital employees.

• Established the manufacturing and engineering wafer and package test teams from the ground up. Work included the construction of the manufacturing facilities, procuring the equipment and hiring the employees to support the operation.• Led the engineering team responsible for the development, support, and improvement of wafer and package test operations supporting high speed Alpha microprocessors and support chips.
