As a Project Manager of the Packaging and Beauty Division, I managed new product development processes for two main international accounts.o Studied client’s new product brief, defined requirements/objectives, delivered specific directions to the engineering team.o Worked with the customer on feasible options based on feedback/comments presented in the engineer team meeting.o Worked simultaneously on formulation development and packaging design.o Analyzed our production cost including raw materials, labor and transport in order to quote the project for the customer.o Identified “doable actions” for each project and set timeframes for each department (lab, filler, and factories).o Developed all required technical documentation for production (Bill of Material, Assembly Instructions).o Coordinated activities between factories in Asia, fillers in the USA/Europe, oversee production launch to meet the confirmed launch dates. o Acted as the main point of contact for every team involved in the project development process.

The group was a private label manufacturer and brand owner offering a full suite of services from formulation, packaging sourcing, design to compliance, regulatory testing and manufacturing. As a Business Engineer in a family run business, my role was multiple.o Studied and identified new business development opportunities.o Signed an exclusive distribution partnership with a French private label manufacturer.o Designed and developed a new skincare brand (5 routine products).o Worked with an external lab to develop the formulations, briefed their technicians to achieve the expected formulations using active ingredients I selected. o Delivered directions to my internal design team to create the brand image.o Developed the Product Information File (PIF) for each product in accordance with new European Cosmetics Regulation and assisted the safety assessor in the safety assessment task.o Developed a new range of styling hair and beard products and gift sets for a male-grooming brand.o Reworked products (ingredients, packaging) in accordance with new European Cosmetics Regulation.

As a Product Manager, I worked with hospitals to introduce single-use surgical products in ORs. CombiSets, the main product I work on, is a sterile ready-pack that contains pre-packaged, sterilized, single-use instruments and dressings needed for a pre-specified procedure. o Managed 3 main product ranges of non-reusable products for surgery (drapes, surgical tools, compresses). All these products can be assembled in a Combiset.o Worked with the customers to compose their bespoke Combisets depending on the type of surgery and their needs.o Worked on customized drapes and delivered directions to the factory in Germany to design prototypes based on the customer’s needs (bespoke shape and texture). o Analyzed our production cost including raw materials, labor and transport in order to quote the project for the customer, once all the specs are known and approved.o Coordinated activities with the German factory, French headquarter sales force and customers. o Overseen the sale representatives that are on the field and assisted them with technical knowledge.o Trained new sales force (seminar, meetings) and defined their objectives with the Sale Director.

DERMANCE is an active cosmetics brand dedicated to mature skin only. As a Product Development Manager, I worked on a night serum called Serum Global®, an eye contour and the first make-up range of the brand called Skinlight® which includes a primer, two foundations, a blush and a set of brushes. o Determined the product development planning for the next 4 quarters. o Benchmarked existing products on the market, tested and analyzed them in order to define their strengths and weaknesses based on various criteria (texture, skin finish, smell, color, application). o Developed books of specification based on the scientific concept we wanted to create, the selling countries, the black list of ingredients and my findings during the benchmark tests. o Worked simultaneously on formulation development and packaging design.o Translated the scientific concept behind each product into an understandable marketing story.o Priced the new products based on the market, distribution channels, our cost and our margin.o Sourced, analyzed quotes, negotiated and worked with raw material and packaging suppliers.o Registered patent for Serum Global® for its unique concept of Double Cell Synchronization.
