Space for society - that is what drives me in my day-to-day working life.Satellite communications may become the key to future connectivity on Earth.To make this possible, I am involved in coordinating and promoting European and national solutions for satellite-based mobile communications. Collaboration with key players outside the space sector is crucial here to enable an optimal integration in terrestrial communication networks.My background is in electrical engineering of microwave instruments with focus on remote sensing based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR).I am grateful and very much looking forward to contributing to Europe's game-changing space systems in the decades to come.
