Origination of new equity business in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors (Direct Investments and Fund Investments) in LATAM with primary focus on Brazil and Mexico, review of financial models and valuation assessment of opportunities, review of initial financing proposals, preparation of Clearance in Principal (CiP) documents, preparation and execution.

Review of financing proposals, of external Due Diligence (DD) documents & of ratings prepared by market departments as well as preparation of 2nd votes, review of and sign-off (incl. preparation of 2nd votes) on change request as prepared by portfolio management, preparation & sign-off on corporate ratings and project finance ratings.

Due Diligence of infrastructure projects (mainly wind & solar projects) and structuring of appropriate long-term financings, negotiation, contractual execution and disbursement of syndicated senior- and mezzanine loans as well as of equity participations.

Due Diligence and structuring of appropriate long-term financings for corporate industry and service companies, preparation of financial models and of Information Memoranda (e.g. for Syndicate Members in DEG led projects)

Origination of new business in Central America (2002-2003) and in the Mercosur region (2000-2001) in the following business segments: Agribusiness, Corporates, Infrastructure and Financial Sector.

Preparation, definition of scope and management of ALSTOM internal audit assignments worldwide (Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand), supervision of multinational audit teams of up to 5 team members, presentation and reporting of audit findings to Group Management.
