I am passionate about experiences that matter. What is the one thing that matters most at the end of our life? MOMENTS. We measure our life in moments, and it's only the meaningful moments, the moments of connection, that stick to our memory! I live to create unifying experiences that cherish humankind and the beauty of this planet, so that, together, we can all live life meaningful to the fullest. Growing up in Berlin I watched the city establish itself as a global hotspot for diversity. Traveling around the world with my family and maturing in the Berlin tourism industry, and learning about the opportunities for sustainable tourism in Costa Rica showed me how essential local experiences can be for people and communities. Since then, I knew I wanted to be not only creative but innovative in my tourism business affairs. My contribution to my family’s sightseeing business and network gave me great knowledge about the tourism and experience industry not only in Berlin but on a global scale. It led me to take the step of founding my startup right after finishing my bachelor studies in 2021. Ever since working on my brand and vision of Nieds, I have seen how tourism can be a transformative force for local development. New generations are pursuing to live in the moment and do not focus so much on materialistic belongings. They are not looking for all-inclusive getaways, but want to get their hands dirty, experience authentic encounters, or even make friends in a foreign country. It's all about People and Meaningful Connections. The connections people make while experiencing unique and inspiring encounters are the moments that define their life and inspire them for the future. Meaningful Tourism is sustainable tourism without compromises. Exactly what we need to address the majority of Travelers in this world. Never forget that sustainability is more than just ecological. It's also about human rights, diversity, local offerings, direct support for the local economy, and much more. Exactly what we pursue with nieds!
