As the Manager of Operations for Young Africa Works in Kenya - TVET at Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), I lead the implementation of a $50 million program in Kenya in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, focused on technical and vocational skills and youth employment. With more than 12 years of experience in the field of international development, I have a proven track record of designing, managing, and overseeing complex and innovative projects that aim to enhance the quality, relevance, and accessibility of skills training and business support for youth in the Global South.My core competencies include international business development, results-based management, gender-responsive programming, and cross-cultural leadership. I am passionate about aligning strategies and proposals with emerging trends, sectors of focus, and opportunities for impact, as well as building and sustaining strong working relationships with governments, educational institutions, private sector actors, and civil society organizations. I hold a Masters of Leadership in Sustainable (Development) Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and I am proficient in English and German. I am also actively involved in the field of development finance and social impact, and I have received multiple awards and certifications for my academic and professional achievements.
