About Moritz Waldmann
I am an engineer interested in of kinds of Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations.I started my professional career with a study in mechanical engineering focussing on aerospace engineering in 2011. Following my studies, I completed my Ph.D. at the Aerodynamic Institute of RWTH Aachen University. My research focused on the coupling of different simulation methods (level set method, finite cell method) with the lattice-Boltzmann method. After finishing my Ph.D., I started a position as a scientist at the German Weather Service, where I am working on the numerical analysis of the interaction between atmosphere and land for weather and climate simulations.
