As an Intern in Wasserman's Team Sports legal department, I redlined and reviewed appearance agreements, player contracts, and similar documents. As Wasserman is a full-service media agency, I also performed legal research on sectors of the law outside of sports and entertainment when necessary to service company clients. This was an intensive experience that developed my contract drafting and research skills immensely.

My experience at SAG-AFTRA entailed performing legal research and drafting memoranda on copyright, contract, labor, and intellectual property law in connection with actors, recording artists, singers, and other media professionals. I was also given the authority to handle default arbitration hearings through which SAG received awards on behalf of performers. My time at SAG-AFTRA deepened my understanding of the relationship between unions, production companies, distributors, and other actors in the entertainment industry.

As an intern, I primarily observed judicial proceedings ranging from driving violations to murder charges. I also aided police departments with simulated training programs. In addition, I attended seminars held by top legal professionals concerning sexual assault and gang violence. Often times I would also help attorneys organize files and handle administrative duties.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's office provided me with many opportunities and responsibilities. I had the chance to experience the inner workings of a District Attorney’s Office for the first time. I witnessed legal proceedings and trials in district and superior court while working closely with top attorneys litigating major felonies, gang violence, juveniles, and homicide. In addition to this, I worked with victim witness advocates and helped strengthen ties between the office and the community. One of my solo projects that accomplished this task was the District Attorney’s popular Soccer For Peace Tournament, for which I secured donations from both local and corporate businesses. I further strengthened the bond between the office and the community by working with Boston youth and helping them understand the role of the District Attorney’s Office. I often represented the DA's office through my attendance at conferences and events concerning community development and safety, sometimes speaking at correctional facilities for misguided youth.
